Water Connections May be Made by Contacting City Hall. Water is billed based on usage. Water Meters will be read throughout the winter, weather permitting.
$75 Deposit is required from renters of residential property. (Call for deposit requirements on commercial property.) Each customer is asked to pack their water meter to prevent freezing. Water meter inserts are available at City Hall for $16.00 each.
Reminder to Water Customers
Weather permitting water meters will continue to be read all year but should still be packed to prevent winter freezing from October to March every year. Customers will be billed for charges incurred to repair water meters not packed. All water meters are required to have water meter packing inserts in the pit. If your water meter does not have a packing insert, one will be placed in the pit and the customer will be billed $16.00. Water meter packing inserts are available at City Hall.
